ECE:
Electronic Corrosion Engineer (ECE) provides i) A corrosion rate predictor
for carbon steel in sweet or sour conditions, with consideration of all
the common options for corrosion control. ii) A risk prediction tool to
evaluate the risk
of early failure of the carbon steel. Iii) A Corrosion Resistant Alloy (CRA)
evaluator to select the most suitable alloy for the environmental conditions,
taking the risk of corrosion, pitting or stress corrosion cracking in the
production conditions automatically into account. Iii) A database, which
gives manufacturers names and addresses for alloy tubing
and for pipe of the required size. Iv) A Life Cycle Cost calculator, which
evaluates the economics of corrosion control of carbon steel and the use
of CRAs on the basis of Net Present Value, enabling cost comparison of various
material choices.
ENPICDA:
ENPICDA, software is designed for internal pipeline corrosion direct assessment,
predicts Internal corrosion rates, fluid properties, momentum, heat and
mass transfer phenomena, fluid flow behavior and flow regime, water chemistry,
gas composition, pH in saturated brine
at pipeline conditions and oilfield mineral scale prediction for sweet or
sour multiphase oil and / or gas pipeline, upstream petroleum production,
downstream natural gas transportation, petrochemical processing, potable
water distribution, amine gas sweetening piping and refinery crude operations.
ECORRPLAN:
Software for maintenance coating management for all industries utilizing
protective coatings as a method to protect valuable assets for implementation,
monitoring and continuously improve enterprise-wide maintenance painting
programs using web-based protocols and reporting formats.
TANK
DATA 2000:
Tank Data 2000 software adresses mechanical integrity of Aboveground Storage
Tanks, provides the user with the following important features: API 653
calculation formulas with on-line updates of inspection intervals, "t-min's"
and more; API 653 shell settlement calculations and graphs, as well as edge
and localized bottom. A thorough internal/external Tank Inspection Checklist
in compliance w /API 653. A complete information database to allow recording
of all construction, maintenance, repair, and inspection activities on each
AST, including a generous narrative area for those items that just won't
fit into a nice neat box. Contains computerized reporting of shell and floor
thickness in a relational database and coinciding graphical representation.
API 653 compliant software program for inclusion into your Mechanical Integrity
Inspection Program per 29 CFR 1910.119 and OSHA 3132 Process Safety Management
Program.
RSTRENG:
RSTRENG software used for determining the remaining strength of externally
corroded pipe, as it is less conservative than ASME B31G and provides a
more accurate assessment of
the corroded area. This results in enhanced pipeline integrity and safety
while simultaneously lowering costs to the pipeline owner/operator. RSTRENG
is also referenced as an acceptable evaluation method in NACE RP0502-2002
(Pipeline External Corrosion Direct
Assessment Methodology) and ASME B31.8S (Managing System Integrity of Gas
Pipelines).
CATPRO:
The CatPro software has been designed for the optimization of cathodic protection
systems of large networks of buried pipelines taking into account following
effects: Cathodic, anodic, combined and induced interferences DC stray current
interference from nearby
structure. By applying the CatPro software tool, the CP engineer can easily
calculate different pipeline CP set-ups under various conditions (soil resistivity,
coating quality, pipeline dimensions, rectifier output, …) in order
to custom-fit the system to his protection requirements. Consequently, the
number of on-site interventions can be reduced significantly.
OCELOT:
OCELOT (Online Corrosion Evaluation Tool), an industry-leading pipeline
integrity analysis and assessment application that allows users to predict
where corrosion is occurring in their pipelines and develop preventative
programs. OCELOT uses topographical terrain modeling, fluid flow analysis,
accurately predict issues that may affect pipeline integrity without performing
any physical analysis on the pipes themselves. fluid flow analysis, corrosion
assessements, 3-D elevation models along with detailed maintenance, risk
mitigation, and monitoring plans to minimize the likelihood of pipeline
failure.
AQUAKOR:
AQUAKOR, software product from CORPOL, Poland enables precise and objective
assessment of corrosive properties of water towards steel from the results
of physico-chemical analysis. The following indices are determined: Langelier
saturation index, Ryznar stability index, CCPP, ie., amount of CaCO3 which
water can dissolve or precipitate when the carbonate equilibrium is achieved
and estimated corrosion rate for steel. Program provides recommended values
of water parameters to reduce steel corrosion rate to the
allowable level, ie., below 0.05 mm/year. Range of application includes
industrial water used in heating or cooling circulation systems in temperature
range 0 to 100°C and drinking water. Potential AQUAKOR users include:
Power and power/district heating plants, Heat distribution enterprises,
Municipal water supply enterprises, Chemical, petrochemical, metallurgical
and other industrial enterprises where corrosion induced breakdown of water
circulation system is a hazard. Effects of application includes Assessment
of actual corrosion hazard in systems under consideration, Undertaking of
preventive
measures to avoid corrosion breakdowns, Prevention of excessive deposits
in water circulation systems, Maintenance of proper process parameters,
Selection of optimum construction materials and effective corrosion control
measures,
